1st Elm Park Scout Group

Welcome to 1st Elm Park Scout Group Website.

As members of the largest co-educational youth organisation in the world we are committed to providing Scouting at its best, from the very first moment your child walks through the door.

Scouting is an enjoyable way of instilling a sense of discipline, learning some very useful life skills, while at the same time having a whole lot of fun!

Especially the fun part !!

Please take a look around our website and feel free to contact us with any queries, comments you may have.
Scouting starts at our Beaver Colony with those aged between 6 and 8 years. They meet on Monday evenings between 6.30 and 7.30pm. They make things, go on visits, play games and generally have a whole lot of fun. If you're interested in your child joining us please go to the enquiry page.
The next section are the Cubs Scouts. Aged between 8 and 10 1/2 years they are determined to extend their Scouting knowledge, while having lots of fun on the way. They make new friends and sample various activities that help them to gain confidence in their own, and each others, abilities.

They meet on a Thursday evening between 6.30 and 8pm.

A quick run through of last years programme can be found on the 'Yearly Overview' page, but to really get a taste of what Cub Scouting is all about you need to come and join us for a couple of weeks - loads of fun awaits you!
Our Scout Troop also meet on a Thursday evening, but between 8 and 9.30pm, and are aged between 10 1/2 and 14 years. Lots of our Scouts have come through the ranks so know what sort of activities are on offer, but don't let that fool you into thinking that those new to Scouting aren't encouraged to join ..... there is always room for one more !
The Explorer section that is affiliated to our group is that of the Centurians. They meet on a Monday evening between 8 and 9.45pm and are aged between 14 and 18 years.
